Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu Meets UNFPA Representative To Liberia Dr. Mady Biaye
On June 24, Ambassador Yin Chengwu met with Dr. Mady Biaye, Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to Liberia.
Amb. Yin stated that the Chinese side pursues true multilateralism, places emphasis on the important role played by United Nations agencies in Liberia. China stands ready to cooperate with the UNFPA in Liberia, jointly contributing to the development of Liberia.
Dr. Biaye stated that the UNFPA highly appreciates China's philosophy of "putting the people first" and support for Liberia's development. The UNFPA is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with China to improve the livelihoods and well-being of the Liberian people.
