Alumni Center on the move

The UAA Alumni Center is on the move. Alumni and Community Engagement (ACE) will relocate from its current space near the UAA/APU Consortium Library into the Administration Building, Room 228, on the second floor. The move will take place over winter break, and the Alumni Center will be fully open by Jan. 12, 2026.

The Alumni Center first opened on Feb. 12, 2014, as UAA's dedicated home for alumni. At that time, the university repurposed an alcove of little-used lockers and pay phones near the library's main entrance, into a glass-fronted space for ACE staff and the growing UAA Alumni Association. A conference room offered a place for board meetings, student-alumni conversations and small gatherings just steps from a busy student walkway.

Moving the Alumni Center into the Administration Building will bring alumni engagement closer to campus decision-making, making it easier for graduates to connect with staff and university leadership in one location. The new space will continue to serve as a home base for Alumni Association board members, chapters, volunteers and visiting alumni. We are excited to continue collaborating with campus partners to build an engaged alumni community and celebrate the outstanding contributions of UAA graduates.
