Senator Warren Statement on June 2026 PCE

Washington, D.C. - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement:

"Inflation is much higher today than it was when Donald Trump took office in January 2025. Today's data confirms that families paid more in June for health care, housing, and food. Trump promised to lower costs 'on day one' - instead, his failed economic agenda, from his chaotic tariffs to his illegal war in Iran, has fueled higher costs and eaten away at paychecks."
