Hanger LIVE 2026 Brings Bold Moves to Dallas

DALLAS, Texas, February 3, 2026 -The annual Hanger LIVE conference took place January 26-28 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, bringing together Hanger employees, exhibitors, speakers, and orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) industry innovators for three inspiring days. Attendees had the chance to participate in high-impact educational sessions and powerful networking moments. This year's theme, "Bold Moves," set the tone-celebrating Hanger's commitment to leading with courage, advancing evidence-based patient care, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in new technology and products and services. The entire event embodied a shared mission: elevating the O&P profession and propelling it into an even more transformative future for patients.

Hanger reinforced its commitment to advanced education by offering tailored learning tracks for both orthotics and prosthetics, enabling attendees to deepen their expertise within their specialty areas. Experts from the Hanger Institute for Clinical Research & Education-including Chief Clinical Officer Shane Wurdeman, Phil Stevens, Emily Steffensen, and Kathleen Carroll-shared insights on the critical role of understanding patient behavior in achieving optimal outcomes. Participants also engaged in an open Q&A session with Hanger leadership, including Stoy, Wurdeman, and Hanger Clinic President Michael Oros. The conversation highlighted the interconnected nature of the global O&P landscape, emerging scientific and technological innovations, and ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experience and outcomes.

In addition to the numerous courses taught by subject matter experts, Hanger was honored to host the collaborative Global Partners Summit event for thought leaders from O&P manufacturing, independent practices, academic institutions, and professional associations. The Hanger LIVE Showcase this year featured an inspiring story from Hanger Clinic patient Katy Sullivan, a Tony nominated actress, producer, writer, and elite athlete. Hanger also hosted the annual Partner Awards event,recognizing four outstanding partners who provide exceptional products and services throughout the year that advance the field of O&P. The partners recognized this year were: Fior & Gentz; TruLife; WillowWood; and Click Medical.
