The Gloria McClellan Senior Center is keeping October full of opportunities to stay active, connected, and engaged. From daily weekday meals to fitness classes, health screenings, cultural events, and special programs, there's something for everyone this fall.
Lunch at the Park Terrace Café
Join friends and neighbors for a nutritious lunch served weekdays at noon. Meals are just $4 for adults 60+ and $8 for those under 60. Transportation to and from lunch is available making it easy to enjoy good food and good company.

Stay energized with classes designed for older adults of all levels:
Empowered Aging Series
This free six-week program continues in October and is aimed at building confidence and connections through engaging presentations, activities, and discussion. Sessions include an optional lunch at noon, followed by dessert and the program from 1-2 p.m.:
Health Screenings
Cultural Event: Día de los Muertos
Celebrate culture and memory at the Sugar Skull Making Workshop on Friday, Oct. 17, and Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. This two-day experience includes crafting and decorating colorful sugar skulls to honor loved ones.
