Permit work requires closures at I-470 and View High Dr., April 20

Ramp closure in place for permit work, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday, April 20

JACKSON COUNTY - Permit work by I-470 Western Gateway Transportation Development District (TDD) for roadway improvements and the installation of a diverging diamond interchange (DDI) on View High Dr. under I-470 will require the following closures at I-470 and View High Dr. on Monday, April 20. All work is weather permitting.

Closures in place from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday, April 20

  • Ramp from eastbound I-470 to View High Drive closed
  • View High Drive closed just south of I-470

Motorists are encouraged to use adjacent I-470 interchanges to navigate around the ramp closures.

A signed detour will be in place utilizing the ramps at Raytown Rd. and I-470.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
