Traffic Safety Improvement near Ventura High School
Starting mid-December, traffic safety improvements will be made near Ventura High School on Poli Street, Hall Canyon Road, Seaward Avenue, Evergreen Drive, Fairview Drive, and Sunset Drive.
PROJECT FEATURES:
- All-way stops at the Hall Canyon Road/Fairview Drive and Sunset Drive/ Hall Canyon Road intersections
- Improved traffic flow at Poli Street/ Seaward Avenue/Hall Canyon Road intersections
- High-visibility crosswalks at Poli Street, Seaward Avenue, and Evergreen Drive
CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE:
Starting mid-December and lasting 2-3 weeks, weather and conditions permitting
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Temporary traffic and pedestrian detours We appreciate your patience as we complete these improvements to support safety for students, pedestrians, and roadway users.
- Construction equipment, trucks, and crews onsite
- Noise and dust typical of outdoor construction activity
