Investigators Working to Identify Driver Involved in Tuesday Night's Fatal Hit and Run

Traffic Division investigators are working to identify the driver involved in Tuesday's 10:35 p.m. hit and run crash that fatally injured a male pedestrian on Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard near Osage Street. The preliminary investigation indicates the man was walking on the east side of the street when he was struck by a dark colored SUV that continued northbound.

The pedestrian was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Efforts are underway to identify him and notify his family.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or driver involved in this fatal crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
