Vistra Fund Solutions expands Yardi platform to streamline real estate debt administration and reporting

Expansion adds debt fund administration, automated property data ingestion and operational reporting capabilities for real estate managers

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., Oct. 14, 2026 - Vistra Fund Solutions, a leading real estate fund administrator, today announced a significant expansion of its fund administration capabilities on the Yardi® platform, adding real estate debt fund administration, automated data ingestion from third-party property managers and enhanced operational reporting capabilities for real estate fund managers.

The expansion comes as more real estate managers deploy capital into debt strategies and seek more consistent and usable data to support reporting, analytics and emerging AI applications.

Vistra can now administer real estate credit funds and levered equity strategies alongside property and entity accounting within the same Yardi environment. This brings equity and debt administration together in a single workflow, from the loan ledger through to the investor statement, with no handoffs between systems or providers.

Beyond standard fund accounting metrics, the expanded platform captures and reports operational data. For data center investments, for example, this includes power capacity, utilization rates and lease-by-kilowatt economics alongside financial returns. Similar reporting capabilities extend across office, industrial, multifamily, retail and hospitality assets.

Vistra also normalizes and structures client data so that it can be delivered directly into internal systems, dashboards and data warehouses. Clients retain full ownership of the data and can use it for their own reporting, analytics and AI initiatives without requiring further transformation.

Abdel Hmitti, President of Vistra Fund Solutions, said: "Our clients are expanding into debt strategies and relying more heavily on operational data to inform investment decisions. The pressure to deliver all of that from a single, consistent data environment has never been higher. We've run our real estate fund administration on Yardi for more than a decade, and this expansion extends that trusted foundation in the directions our clients are heading. With a single controlled environment from the asset ledger to the investor statement, we're able to meet that demand and deliver best-in-class administration for every property type."

Vistra, which supports ten of the world's largest real assets managers, has added three modules to the Yardi Investment Accounting infrastructure that has underpinned its real estate fund administration business for more than a decade:

  • Yardi Debt Manager for loan administration and covenant tracking
  • Yardi Import Manager for automated data ingestion from external property managers
  • Yardi Data Connect for streamlined data delivery to downstream data warehouses and applications

Together, the three new modules extend the platform across the full data lifecycle. Vistra's dedicated Yardi team can now automate data flows from third-party property managers into its controlled environment, reducing manual data handling and improving the quality and consistency of information available during quarter-end reporting.

Chris Barbier, Senior Director, Yardi Investment Management, said: "At the heart of this relationship is a shared commitment to helping investors and fund managers succeed. By deploying our investment management solutions across Vistra's client base, we're able to put powerful, purpose-built technology into the hands of more professionals who depend on accuracy, transparency, and efficiency every day. We're thrilled to deepen our partnership with a firm of Vistra's caliber."

Vistra Fund Solutions is one of the longest-standing fund administration users of the Yardi Investment Accounting platform globally and is among the first fund administrators to adopt the new capabilities. A dedicated in-house Yardi team with more than 100 years of collective experience on the platform operates a single controlled workflow from the property ledger through SPV consolidation to fund-level NAV and investor statements.

The firm administers more than US$1 trillion in assets globally, supporting the world's ten largest real estate fund managers alongside a broad spectrum of middle market and emerging real estate asset managers. Vistra Fund Solutions supports real estate managers globally across the full fund lifecycle, delivering fund administration, SPV and entity administration, investor services, depositary and third-party AIFM and ManCo services, as well as regulatory and tax compliance support.
