WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA-04) introduced a bipartisan resolution in the House of Representatives designating the week of September 20-26, 2026, as Gold Star Families Remembrance Week.

Newhouse added, "To honor those lost and those still here, we dedicate Gold Star Remembrance week. My colleagues and I send our gratitude to the thousands of families who keep the memories of their loved ones alive through sharing stories and continue to honor the bravery of those who lost their lives in service to our great Nation."
