Crowell & Moring's Agustin Orozco and Jason Murray Named to Los Angeles Business Journal's 2026 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys List

Los Angeles - July 13, 2026: The Los Angeles Business Journal named Crowell & Moring's Agustin Orozco and Jason Murray to its 2026 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys list. This prestigious recognition highlights attorneys who are making a profound impact on the legal community and who serve as trusted advocates throughout the L.A. region.

Orozco is a partner in Crowell & Moring's White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement Group and Government Contracts Group , and serves as the managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles office. Drawing on 16 years of experience and his background as a former federal prosecutor, he represents clients in complex criminal and civil government investigations and enforcement actions, litigates False Claims Act matters, and counsels clients on government contracts disputes, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance, and suspension and debarment matters.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Orozco served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Public Corruption & Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, where he tried federal cases as lead counsel, examined dozens of witnesses, and briefed and argued multiple cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has been recognized by Chambers USA in White Collar, as a Daily Journal Top 100 Lawyer, and an LA Times Legal Visionary. Orozco is active in the community, serving as a board member of For People of Color, Inc., a board member of the Mexican American Bar Foundation, and on the steering committee of Just the Beginning, where he mentors high school students from underserved communities.

Murray is a partner in Crowell's Antitrust and Competition Group , where he represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes antitrust litigation, and counsels clients in connection with state attorneys general, DOJ, and Federal Trade Commission investigations. With 32 years of practice, he is recognized for his first-chair trial experience across a wide range of complex matters, including antitrust cartel litigation, monopolization, and exclusive dealing cases for companies in the healthcare, technology, transportation, entertainment, and telecommunications sectors. Murray has tried and arbitrated numerous matters as first chair and has successfully argued before state and federal courts of appeals, as well as before the American Arbitration Association, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

Murray served for over a decade as co-chair of Crowell's Antitrust and Competition Group, which has been consistently recognized by Global Competition Review as a "recommended" competition practice and by Chambers USA as a leading California antitrust practice. His credentials include recognition as Best Lawyers' Lawyer of the Year in Antitrust, a Top Antitrust Lawyer by the Daily Journal, and consistent listings in Chambers USA and Legal 500 United States. Beyond his legal practice, Murray serves as Chairman of the Board of Volunteers of America, Los Angeles, the largest provider of homeless services, Head Start programs, and other essential services for the city's most vulnerable populations.
