Senior Official for Foreign Assistance, Humanitarian Affairs, and Religious Freedom Jeremy Lewin will travel to Jamaica on November 9, 2025. During his visit, Senior Official Lewin will meet with senior Jamaican government officials, members of the Disaster Assistance Response Team, Department of War personnel, and search-and-rescue teams from Los Angeles and Fairfax Counties to discuss ongoing recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa. He will also visit disaster-affected communities to reaffirm U.S. commitment to our region.
