Valeo receives “Technology Innovation” award at 2025 Automobile Award ceremony for its AssistXR software solution

December 19, 2025 - Paris, France - At the eighth edition of the Automobile Award Ceremony, Valeo won the award in the "Technology Innovation" category for its AssistXR solution. The Group also secured third place in the "Green Innovation" category for its low-carbon Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) module.

With AssistXR, Valeo offers a promising innovative solution for safer and more connected mobility. It revolutionizes remote assistance by leveraging the power of cloud and artificial intelligence to deliver safer, faster, and more efficient support in case of emergency, breakdown, or maintenance needs. In case of an emergency, AssistXR sends 360-degree real-time information of the vehicle and surrounding environment through its digital twin to an operator, saving time, cutting costs, and optimizing communications efficiency. AssistXR significantly enhances the safety and efficiency of interventions, while fully aligning with the shift toward software-defined vehicles.

Thermal management is critical to power efficiency for electric vehicles and the Valeo Low Carbon HVAC represents a true breakthrough in the eco-design of automotive thermal systems. By introducing the first mass-production HVAC housing made from a polymer with a 100% recycled matrix-while maintaining the same mechanical and thermal performance as virgin material-Valeo proves that technological innovation and environmental impact reduction can genuinely go hand in hand.
