Parks, recreation & libraries earns national accreditation

We are proud to announce that our Parks, Recreation & Libraries (PRL) Department has achieved accreditation from the National Recreation and Park Association's Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA).

CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies serving as a trusted measure of excellence in operations, management and service to the community. With this achievement, Roseville becomes the 219th agency in the United States to earn this recognition, joining a select group out of more than 12,000 park and recreation agencies nationwide.

What CAPRA accreditation means:

  • Highest standards: Independent verification that our parks, programs and facilities meet rigorous national benchmarks

  • Continuous improvement: A commitment to accountability and ongoing excellence in serving our community

  • Expanded opportunities: Greater credibility when pursuing grants, partnerships and innovative projects

This accreditation is more than a recognition. It is a reflection of the dedication of our staff, volunteers and community partners. Together, we have built a foundation that ensures Roseville remains a place where parks, programs and people shine.

We look forward to continuing to serve our residents with the highest level of quality and care. See what we do at roseville.ca.us/PRL
