Governor Polis Memorializes Verbal Disaster Declarations for Oak and Crosho Fires

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis memorialized his verbal disaster declarations for the Oak Fire in Archuleta County and Crosho Fire in Rio Blanco and Routt Counties. Through an Executive Order, Governor Polis memorialized his August 10th verbal disaster declaration for the Oak Fire in Archuleta County. As of August 16, the Oak Fire burned 75 acres and was 100% contained.


Governor Polis signed another Executive Order to memorialize his August 13th verbal disaster declaration for the Crosho Fire in Rio Blanco and Routt Counties. As of August 25, the Crosho Fire burned 2,073 acres and was 100% contained.
