The AHN Saint Vincent Emergency Medicine Residency and Family Medicine Residency programs are welcoming their newest classes of residents today at the hospital's annual White Coat ceremony in its McGarvey Learning Center
The White Coat Ceremony marks a significant milestone in the journey of aspiring physicians as they transition into their roles as caregivers. The incoming residents will be presented with their white coats, a symbol of the medical profession's commitment to compassionate patient care, scientific excellence, and ethical conduct.
The ceremony features remarks from hospital leadership and faculty, offering guidance and inspiration to the new residents as they embark on their residency training.
"The White Coat Ceremony at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital is a momentous occasion, symbolizing the dedication and commitment our new residents have to the challenging, yet rewarding, path of medicine," said Dr. Chris Clark, President of the hospital.
