Open House: Learn What’s Coming to 175th Avenue

News article

Posted April 27, 2026

Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation will host an open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Aloha Community Library to share information about the upcoming 175th Avenue Sidewalk Project. Community members are encouraged to stop by anytime during the event to learn about planned improvements and talk with project staff.

The project will add continuous sidewalk along 175th Avenue and include a safer pedestrian crossing at Chris Street. These improvements will help create more comfortable walking routes to nearby schools and neighborhood destinations.

"We're pleased to share the project's progress and provide clarity on what's planned," said Jed Corley, Project Manager. "We look forward to seeing you at the open house and visiting about the upcoming project."

Spoken language and sign language interpretation can be requested at least 24 hours in advance by emailing [email protected].
