Wai’anae Valley Traffic Calming Study

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

WAI'ANAE VALLEY TRAFFIC CALMING STUDY

WEEK OF APRIL 27th - MAY 1ST

This notice is to advise residents of a traffic study along Kāneʻaki Street between Waiʻanae Valley Road and Kōlealiʻiliʻi Street, through Department of Hawaiian Home Lands' (DHHL) consultant, Austin, Tsutsumi, & Associates (ATA).

See above map for reference.

This traffic study analysis will help determine whether speed humps are an appropriate traffic calming measure at this location. Residents are advised to stay alert for ATA personnel and equipment in the area.

DHHL staff will present the findings of the study to the community when the report is ready. Additional input and collaboration with the community and lessees will be welcome at that time.

For any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to reach out to project manager, Bladimir Gonzalez at 808-282-2988.
