CESA applications due Aug. 19
Applications for fall 2026 Community Engaged Student Assistants (CESAs) are now open!
Faculty and staff may apply for CESAs to support their community-engaged teaching, research or creative activity. CESAs are awarded UAA Administration Scholarships of $500 to $1500, depending on hours dedicated to the project and student level (undergraduate, graduate). Interested applicants may visit the website to learn more about the CESA program.
CESA activities support students, faculty, staff, and community partners in: developing community partnerships; recruiting, placing, training and coordinating service-learning for courses; developing creative projects, applying technical expertise and collecting research data; and/or providing direct service/research to the community partner(s).
At the end of the semester, CESAs create a poster describing the projects that are displayed at CCEL's Annual Community Engagement Forum. Last year's projects are available online.
