9-11 Freedom Fest, Freedom Ride & Car Show

The Freedom Ride fundraiser has helped hundreds of veterans over the last 7 years. Helping Heroes has completed a $60,000 remodel on a veterans home. Purchased vehicles for veterans, assisted veterans in housing, paid past due bills, paid for dental care, paid for travel oxygen machines, helped with auto repairs, paid off eviction notices, and so much more. Helping Heroes wants to continue the Mission, and we need your support to do that. JOIN US...to benefit our soldiers and veterans in need of a hand-up!! A police-escorted motorcycle & Jeep convoy will visit Indianapolis memorials, paying tribute to those we lost on 9.11 Brings music, food, friends,and families together for a great cause to support our United States Veterans and first responders in need. Motorcycles & Jeep registration starts at 9 am with a $40 ALL ACCESS pass arm band. This year each registered vehicle will receive one T-shirt and one all access arm band. Passengers will also receive an all access arm band. Additional shirts are available for $15. The jeeps will be joining the ride, driving behind the last motorcycle. A trophy for "Best in Show" and "People's Choice" will be announced at the end of the ride. Jeeps are encouraged to post their flags, decorate the jeep, add the lights, and show off for the event. Fill the Jeep with people it's still only $40 Car Show registration is a $30 all-access arm band. This comes with a chance to win trophies to "Best in the Show" and "People's Choice", awards will be announced after the ride returns to the American Legion post. Non-riders are welcome and encouraged to attend. This kid-friendly event allows fun for the whole family. They can enjoy the Music, food, vendor fair, raffles, resource fair, helicopterrides, games, prizes, and more. All non-riders are $10, All non-riding veterans are FREE. Raffletickets are available for a chance to win a Honda Shadow Spirit 750, auction items, and various drawings after the ride! REGISTRATION: Motorcycles and Jeeps will have separate registration tables. $40 per vehicle includes 1 T-shirt and ALL ACCESS PASS/arm band. Passengers riders are free and will receive an arm band. Additional shirts are available for $15. $30 Car Show entries include one T-Shirt and one ALL ACCESS arm band. CEREMONY: Posting of the Colors, National Anthem, Helping Heroes Speaker, and Guest Speaker followed by KICKSTANDS UP RIDE: The Freedom ride will last approx. one hour. It will be a tribute to those we will never forget.
