NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - Penn State Altoona student-athlete Kira Trexler, of Martinsburg, was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's offensive player of the week for women's soccer.
Trexler had another great week for the Lions, being involved in all three of the Lions' goals. In the 2-1 victory against Bethany, Trexler scored the equalizer and set up Grace Turner, of Stevensville, MD, for the winner. Then against Washington & Jefferson, Trexler set up the lone goal for the Lions as they would lose 4-1.
She would finish the week with one goal, two assists, four points, three shots, and three shots on goal.
Penn State Altoona women's soccer returns to action on Sept. 13 as they travel to Pittsburgh to face Chatham University for a 1 p.m. match.
