The operation centered on the receipt and unloading of a significant volume of mission-essential material at Yokohama North Dock for direct loading aboard a Military Sealift Command vessel enabling expedited delivery of essential requirements to the Navy fleet.

With a compressed timeline available to plan and execute the evolution, DLA Distribution Yokosuka personnel quickly mobilized resources, coordinated stakeholders, and developed a safe and effective operational plan to meet mission requirements.
