Stream Realty Partners Selected to Lease APEX Elgin Industrial Development

CHICAGO- October 5, 2026 - Stream Realty Partners, a national commercial real estate firm offering an integrated platform of services, has been selected by Scannell Properties to oversee leasing for APEX Elgin, a planned three-building industrial development nearing 660,000 square feet in Elgin, Illinois.

Located on 51 acres at the southwest corner of Randall Road and Higgins Road, APEX Elgin represents one of the largest remaining development opportunities along the I-90 Corridor. The site offers immediate access to I-90, providing connectivity to O'Hare International Airport and the greater Chicago market, as well as key distribution routes serving the Upper Midwest. Its location along Randall Road also provides prominent visibility and exposure for future tenants.

The current site plan calls for three Class A speculative industrial buildings designed to accommodate a broad range of users, including national retailers and distributors, advanced manufacturers, and other industrial occupiers. Build-to-suit opportunities are also available, providing additional flexibility for users with specific facility requirements. Construction is anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
