Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko attended a parade to mark the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, which is taking place in Red Square in Moscow.
Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Red Square together with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The Belarusian head of state, along with other leaders, took his place on the central stand next to veterans.
After the military parade Aleksandr Lukashenko and the heads of delegations laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin walls to honor the memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic War.
The celebrations to mark the 81st anniversary of the Victory in Moscow were also attended by the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Laos, and the supreme ruler of Malaysia.
