City to Recognize Fallen Soldiers on Memorial Day

CPT Jordan Sealey was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Orlando, Florida. He enlisted into the Army Reserve, in 2014, as a Horizontal Construction Engineer. He was assigned to the 689th Route Clearance Company, while simultaneously contracting with the Florida A&M Army ROTC Battalion. He graduated from Florida A&M University in 2019 and commissioned as a Chemical Officer with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology. Upon graduation, he reported to Fort Knox to serve as a CBRN Instructor for Cadet Command. He later completed CBOLC at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

His first assignment was with the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS where he served as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer and Squadron CBRN Officer in 1-6 AIR CAV. As a Squadron CBRN Officer, he deployed to Camp Humphreys, South Korea in support of Korea Rotational Force and completed the first Expeditionary Rotation at National Training Center, Fort Irwin. While on rotation, his unit fielded the CBRN Joint Service Aircrew Mask for the AH-64 Apache Echo Model and completed the first successful on-peninsula Aerial Gunnery in eight years. Upon redeployment, He was assigned as a Distro Platoon Leader in the 1-6 Forward Support Company, which provided logistical support for the entire 1st Combat Aviation Brigade Helicopter Fleet, to include UH-60 Blackhawks and CH-47 Chinooks. He completed his time at Fort Riley as an Executive Officer.

Jordan completed CBRN Captains Career Course in 2023 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. While in the course, Jordan and his amazing wife, Denver Sealey, gave birth to their first child, Croix Xavier Sealey. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), where he served as the Regimental Current Operations Officer. In this role, he spearheaded the execution of multiple missions throughout the National Capital Region, to include 2024 NATO Summit, Presidential Address of National Memorial Day/Veteran's Day, State Funeral 39 for Former President Jimmy Carter and the 60th Presidential Inauguration. Jordan has been selected as the Commanding General's Aide-de-camp and will continue to serve MDW JTF-NCR.
