HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at I-24 Interchange Reconstruction Phase 2: There are no lane closures scheduled during this time period (April 16 to April 22) for I-24 East and I-24 West from Germantown Road through the I-75 Interchange. JACKSON COUNTY SR-56 (JENNINGS CREEK HWY.) TDOT Bridge Inspection northbound at LM 10.98: A scheduled inspection of the PFC Ben Wade Stone Bridge on SR-56, crossing the Cumberland River in Gainesboro, will result in lane closures from 8 AM until 4 PM on Thursday, April 16. The northbound lane and shoulder will be closed for the use of an under-bridge inspection vehicle. Flaggers will use the southbound lane to alternate traffic through the work zone. Motorists are advised to use caution when approaching the bridge. Be alert to the presence of flaggers, bridge inspection personnel, vehicles and equipment.

MARION COUNTY I-24 [137-138.2] from 137 to 138.2 Rockfall Mitigation on I-24 near MM 137: The contractor will be performing rockfall mitigation operations on I-24 WB beginning at MM 138.2 in Marion County. The middle lane, right lane, and right shoulder have been closed. 2 Lanes of traffic have been shifted to flow on the left shoulder and left lane. Blasting will also occur during the weekdays between 9 AM and 3 PM. Blasting operations will require a rolling roadblock. All lanes will be reopened to traffic by May 22, 2026. VAN BUREN COUNTY SR-111 [14.87-19.54] from Sparta Street to White County Line microsurfacing: The contractor will have occasional lane closures during daylight hours from 6 AM to 7 PM for sign and traffic control device installations and to begin bridge repair and re-surfacing-related operations as needed. Additionally, lane closures on this multi-lane highway will occasionally carry through nighttime hours (24-hour lane closures) with proper signage for curing of concrete and other bridge-related setup. WHITE COUNTY SR-1 [0-7.7] from Van Buren County Line to SR-111 resurfacing: The contractor is scheduled to begin installing construction signs on 04/17/26. Once the signs are installed, the contractor will begin removing existing pavement markings and will start microsurface paving. During this work, one lane will be closed in each direction and workers will be present on the roadway. Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they approach the work zone, and they should be prepared to stop as they may encounter slow moving traffic.
