Statement on the Passing of Roosevelt Student Keshawn Lewis-Hunt

Roosevelt University is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Keshawn Lewis-Hunt, a Hope Chicago Scholar and valued member of our community.

After transferring from Eastern Illinois University, Keshawn became part of Roosevelt's Hope Scholar community, where he built meaningful connections and left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Keshawn's family, friends, classmates, faculty and staff. We ask that Keshawn's family and loved ones be kept in your thoughts, and we respect their privacy during this difficult time.
