Empowering the Future of Digital Learning: UNESCO Initiated Regional Dialogue on Equitable, Ethical and Human-Centred Use of ICT and AI in Education

Participation in the Symposium on ICT and AI in Education for Central Asia, Iran and Pakistan was not only a significant professional experience but also an important opportunity to reflect on what it truly means to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education responsibly, ethically, and with a human-centred focus. AI is a powerful tool, but its true impact is realised only when it serves human and societal development. Therefore, it is essential to keep the focus on teachers as the key drivers of change and the heart of every educational ecosystem.
