Chipotle aims to hire up to 100 employees during Western Canada Hiring Day

  • Hiring push comes as Chipotle expects to open 12 new restaurants across British Columbia and Alberta in 2026

Oct. 21, 2026 -- As Chipotle continues to expand its footprint in Western Canada, the company is looking to grow its workforce, with up to 100 positions available across British Columbia and Alberta during its upcoming Western Canada Hiring Day.

The hiring push comes during a significant year of growth for Chipotle in the region. The company has opened 10 new restaurants across B.C. and Alberta so far in 2026 - four in B.C. and six in Alberta - with two additional restaurants expected to open by the end of the year, bringing Chipotle's total new restaurant openings in Western Canada to 12 for the year.

On Wednesday, October 28, Chipotle will host a Western Canada Hiring Day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time at 39 participating restaurants across B.C. and Alberta, giving job seekers the opportunity to meet with restaurant leaders for in-person interviews.

"We're looking for people who are passionate about delivering a great guest experience and want to grow with the business," said Anat Davidzon, Managing Director, International at Chipotle. "Western Canada Hiring Day gives candidates a chance to meet our restaurant leaders, learn more about working at Chipotle and see how they can build a career with us."

For prospective employees, Chipotle offers full- and part-time positions, competitive compensation, RRSP matching, free meals, holiday closures and up to $5,250 per year in tuition assistance. More than 65% of current Chipotle General Managers in Canada were promoted internally, providing employees with a potential path from an entry-level restaurant position into leadership.
