Consent Agenda
Item D-7: Purchase of 85 Acres of Environmentally Sensitive Land
The Board will consider purchasing nearly 85 acres of environmentally sensitive land in southwest Orange County through the Green PLACE Program. The property, which is located on the north-side of Winter Garden Vineland Road, west of Apopka Vineland Road, is more than 99 percent wetlands and would help protect water quality, wildlife habitat, flood storage, and the Butler Chain of Lakes while connecting existing conservation lands. To date, Orange County has purchased and preserved 3,417 acres since the Board approved $100 million to purchase environmentally sensitive land.Action requested:Approve the purchase agreement, warranty deed, and related actions to acquire property for $2.7 million (Real Estate Management)

Item E-2 and E-3: Recommendation to Rename Taft Ballfield and Yucatan Park
The Board will consider renaming Taft Ballfield Park to Albert Hodges Park in memory of local patriarch and community builder Albert Carrol Hodges. The Board will also consider renaming Yucatan Park to Commissioner Mary I. Johnson Park in honor of her extraordinary contributions to Orange County. Action requested: Approval of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board's recommendation to change the name of Taft Ballfield to Albert Hodges Park and to change the name of Yucatan Park to Commissioner Mary I. Johnson Park." (Parks and Recreation Division)

Items H-1 through H-3: Neighborhood Grants Advisory Board Recommendations
This item calls for approval of the Neighborhood Grants Advisory Board's recommendations to award more than $124,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations and neighborhood associations. The funding will support youth sports programs, neighborhood beautification projects, and sustainability initiatives designed to improve community spaces, reduce pollution, and expand recreational opportunities for Orange County residents. Action requested:Approve the grant recommendations and authorize execution of the associated grant agreements. (Neighborhood Services Division)

Discussion Agenda:
A-1: Update on Future Limited Agricultural Uses of Green PLACE Properties
The Board will receive an update on whether some Green PLACE conservation properties could be used for limited agricultural activities, such as cattle grazing, hay production, or beekeeping, while continuing to protect the land's environmental value. The discussion will explore whether these uses may be appropriate for certain properties that supported agriculture before acquisition by the County. Item A-1: Tymber Skan on the Lake Update
