Sapiens Decision's Arrow release puts 15 years of decisioning expertise into the product and makes governed decisions native to agentic AI
London, UK - July 1, 2026 - Sapiens today announced Arrow, a major release of Sapiens Decision that helps regulated organisations move faster from decision requirements to governed automation. Arrow ships as Sapiens Decision claims back-to-back analyst recognition: a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: AI Decisioning Platforms, Q2 2025, and a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Decision Intelligence Platforms, 2026.
Across insurance, lending, and other high-volume decision environments, organizations face growing pressure to modernize operations and adopt AI responsibly, without sacrificing the transparency, governance, and accountability that regulated businesses require. In these environments, every decision has to be both defensible and fast, and getting there has traditionally been slow, manual, and expert dependent.
The Arrow release is built for that reality.
"For years, the hardest part of decision intelligence wasn't the technology - it was the methodology, and it had to be earned through years of practice," said Rafael Goldberg, Head of Sapiens Decision. "Arrow puts that expertise into the product itself and lets our customers extend those governed decisions directly into agentic AI."
At the core of the Arrow release is a significant advance in AI-assisted decision modelling. Where the previous ModelAI feature handled discrete snippets of natural language or code, Arrow ingests large, complex source documents - including policy documents and regulatory texts - and guides users through a dialogue-driven approach that replaces manual specification with iterative refinement. Arrow's multi-agent architecture is trained on 15 years of real-world decisioning practice. It generates decision models from that conversation, dramatically compressing the time from requirements to deployable logic. Non-expert modellers now produce output of a quality that previously required years of specialized experience.
Getting decision logic into production has always involved three friction points: deploying it, routing it to the right transaction, and connecting it to downstream systems. Arrow removes all three. Decision App, a new module, lets customers operationalize a decision flow immediately through a lightweight, decision-driven application - putting capabilities like underwriting to work without custom development. Dynamic Flows automatically selects the correct decision logic based on transaction context, eliminating manual routing in multi-jurisdiction environments. Configurable Row Hit Events return structured, actionable findings to consuming systems at the point of decision, removing the post-processing step that typically delays integration.
Customers' deployed decision logic is now available to every AI agent in their stack, governed, auditable, and ready without custom build. Arrow's MCP-enabled decision services make governed decisioning a native capability in customers' agentic workflows.
Arrow is the first release under a new framework for Sapiens Decision, one that pairs a unified version number with the name of an innovator whose foundational work others continue to build on. Arrow (2026-R1) honours Kenneth Arrow, the Nobel laureate whose impossibility theorem is foundational to decision theory and organizational economics. Future releases continue the series alphabetically.
