Get spooky and join the Mission Viejo Halloween and Fall Home Decorating Contest

Mission Viejo residents are invited to trick out their neighborhoods with spooky Halloween décor or create a pumpkin and fall harvest design for the fifth annual Mission Viejo Halloween and Fall Home Decorating Contest.

Hosted by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee, the contest gives residents the chance to embrace the spirit of the season and compete for forever bragging rights. First-place winners will receive a winner sign for their front yard and a gift basket sponsored by our community partners.

Homes must be decorated and entries received by 5 pm on Friday, October 17. Preliminary judging takes place October 19-20 with final review on October 22. Winners will be announced on October 23.

There is no cost to enter this fun contest. Categories include Best Theme, Best Special Effects, Scariest, Most Creative, and Pumpkin-Tastic.
