Pyramid Healthcare announced today its plans to open an adult detoxification and inpatient addiction treatment center located in Dallas, Pennsylvania in January 2019.

The Dallas Treatment Center aims to fulfill a need within the community for detoxification and residential rehabilitation programming, as part of the organization's overall mission to make addiction recovery services more accessible and convenient for those in need.

This is Pyramid Healthcare's first inpatient location in Luzerne County. Pyramid Healthcare and its subsidiaries currently operate over 80 treatment locations including over 1000 residential treatment beds offering varying levels of care across five states. Pyramid is the largest private addiction treatment provider in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

"Pyramid Healthcare is proud to help northcentral Pennsylvania confront the opioid crisis with this additional resource and we look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of people in Scranton/Wilkes Barre and surrounding areas who are struggling with the disease of addiction," said Jonathan Wolf, CEO of Pyramid Healthcare.

Pyramid Healthcare's Dallas location will offer withdrawal management and residential care programs for adult men and women. A client's duration of stay in the program will depend on their personalized, clinically driven treatment plan.

The programs will utilize traditional and holistic approaches to treatment and healing, including 12-step fellowship, SMART Recovery, group, individual and family therapy in addition to medical and psychiatric care. Individuals participating in medication assisted treatment are also welcome at this facility.
