LAKEVIEW -- The Oregon DMV Lakeview office at 855 South F St. is closed this week, with the exception of Thursday, Sept. 25. The Lakeview DMV will be open Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a midday closure from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
We sometimes have to temporarily close an office if we don't have enough people to staff it. The Lakeview office has only one full-time employee and there is no relief at other offices to cover. The closest DMV office is in Klamath Falls.
Drop-in customers may experience longer wait times with no guarantee of same-day service. For a better experience, check the office status before visiting, make an appointment, see if you can do your transaction on DMV2U, and renew your registration using our mail-in options.
