श्री लिएंडर पेस ने आज नई दिल्ली में प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी से भेंट की। श्री मोदी ने कहा, "भारत को टेनिस में उनकी उपलब्धियों पर बहुत गर्व है। हमने विभिन्न विषयों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की। खेल और राष्ट्र निर्माण के प्रति उनका जुनून वास्तव में सराहनीय है।"
प्रधानमंत्री ने एक्स पर पोस्ट में लिखा:
"श्री लिएंडर पेस जी के साथ एक शानदार मुलाकात हुई। भारत को टेनिस में उनकी उपलब्धियों पर बहुत गर्व है। हमने विभिन्न विषयों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की। खेल और राष्ट्र निर्माण के प्रति उनका जुनून वास्तव में सराहनीय है।"
