The Mesa City Clerk's Office reminds voters to verify the location and hours of an official ballot drop box before returning an early ballot for the July 21 Primary Election.

Official ballot drop box locations and hours are available at locations.maricopa.vote. Drop box locations are established for each election and may change based on site availability and accessibility, so voters are encouraged to confirm their preferred location before heading out.

Early ballots may also be returned by mail. Voters should mail their ballot early enough to arrive by July 21. The deadline to request an early ballot is July 10.

Voters can track the status of their early ballot by texting JOIN to 628-623 or by visiting BeBallotReady.Vote.

The Mesa City Council has called a Primary Election for July 21, 2026, for the purpose of electing Councilmembers in Districts 4, 5 and 6, whose terms will expire in January 2031.
