TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
I-95/Rt 896 Interchange-Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists overnight triple lane closures on southbound I-95 for overhead sign and barrier wall work in preparation for a new traffic pattern (Mon. - Thu.). EZPass lanes and cash lanes will be impacted at various times (Thu.).
I-95 AND RAMP IMPACTS
· Monday, April 6th through Thursday, April 9th: Overnight Multi-lane Closure, Southbound I-95 from the Welcome Center to the Toll Plaza (Single Lane 7PM, Double Lane 8PM, Triple Lane 12AM - 6AM)
o Thursday, April 9th: Alternating EZPass and Cash Lane closures (8PM - 6AM)

· No Impacts
UPCOMING ROAD AND RAMP CLOSURES
Week of 4/13 through 4/17 (Weather Permitting)
· Monday, April 13th through Friday, April17th : Rt 896 Northbound closures overnight for paving. Rt 896 Northbound on-ramp to Northbound I-95 and Southbound I-95 off-ramp to Northbound Rt 896 will be closed overnight at various times. Details of ramp closures dates will be finalized week of 4/6. Detours will be posted.
