Police respond to fatal collision at Selkirk Avenue and Salter Street: C25-274471

On November 15, 2025, at 12:43 p.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a Dodge Ram 1500 and a pedestrian near the intersection of Selkirk Avenue and Salter Street.

North District General Patrol and Community Support officers attended and provided first aid to the 68-year-old pedestrian until Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics arrived. He was transported to hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the truck remained on scene and was cooperative with police. Traffic Collision Investigators are continuing the investigation.
