BISMARCK, ND - The University of Mary and Christ in the City announced that they are expanding their longstanding academic partnership with a new graduate scholarship opportunities for staff, current missionaries, and alumni of Christ in the City's missionary formation program.
The expansion allows current missionaries, staff members, and alumni of Christ in the City to receive $7,000 toward four flexible, faith-centered degree programs equipped to train the next generation of leaders in the New Evangelization:
Under the organizations' existing academic agreement, the University of Mary provides academic credit for designated coursework within Christ in the City's academic formation program. "The University of Mary is one of Christ in the City's most coveted partnerships," said Blake Brouillette, managing director of Christ in the City, and himself a graduate business alumnus. "Their generosity, bespoke mindset, and emphasis on human formation align deeply with the mission of Christ in the City. In a time when we are overloaded with frivolous information, the University of Mary provides our missionaries, staff, and alumni with the Intellectual Formation to think and align ourselves with the deepest truths written on the human heart." On behalf of our entire Christ in the City community, we are profoundly grateful for their continued support and investment in our shared mission."
These degrees are part of the University of Mary's broader collection of online programs for Catholic professionals. Online MBA, MBA/MA, and MOL sessions begin every four weeks. The MBA may be completed in as little as one year, while the MBA/MA and MOL may be completed in as little as 16 months. The Applied Catholic Theology program combines online study with on-campus institutes and may also be completed in approximately 16 months. Program length depends on the student's course load and pathway.
The opportunity would give alumni a pathway to build upon their missionary formation through advanced preparation in management and leadership.
