West Vandalia Road Closure Underway

The 1400 block of West Vandalia Road, from Royalton Drive to Four Seasons Boulevard, is closed in both directions due to a 12-inch water main break. Approximately 25 customers are without water service.

City crews will be on-site until repairs are completed, the road reopened, and service is restored, which is expected by 8 am on Friday, October 10. Signs and traffic cones are in place, and motorists are urged to use alternate routes to avoid the area. See the map below for the location.

If you notice discoloration or cloudy water coming from your tap after the repairs, run cold water for a few minutes through a faucet without an aerator, such as an outside spigot or bathtub, until clear.
