TNT Sports & DAZN to Present 'The Fight' Friday, Sept. 4, Headlined by Long-Awaited Return of Former Unified Heavyweight Champion Andy Ruiz Jr.

The Fight returns to TNT Sports and DAZN on Friday, Sept. 4, with an action-packed night of boxing live from Newark, N.J., headlined by the long-awaited return of former unified heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr.

Ruiz Jr., the first fighter of Mexican descent to become heavyweight world champion, will return to the ring against unbeaten Polish heavyweight Damian Knyba. The card will also feature New Jersey's own Vito Mielnicki Jr. taking on world middleweight title challenger Austin "Ammo" Williams in a pivotal matchup between two of the division's top contenders. Rounding out the undercard, Alan Chaves will face off against Eridson Garcia in lightweight action and local Newark product Zaquin Moses will take on Angel Antonio Contreras in a super-featherweight bout.

Fight Week officially begins Wednesday, Sept. 2, as the fighters come face-to-face during the final press conference at 3 p.m. ET on truTV. Fans will hear from the card's featured fighters, trainers and event officials as the final countdown to Friday night's action gets underway.

The intensity ramps up Thursday, Sept. 3, when Ruiz Jr., Knyba, Mielnicki Jr., Williams and the rest of Friday's fight card step onto the scales during the official weigh-in, airing live at 4 p.m. ET on truTV.

Live coverage begins Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET with the Ringside pre-fight show on TNT and truTV. Adam Lefkoe hosts alongside an all-star studio team featuring five-division World Champion and pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford, Hall of Fame inductee and two-division World Champion Timothy Bradley Jr., and former welterweight World Champion Shawn Porter. Together, they'll deliver expert analysis, exclusive insights and comprehensive breakdowns leading into Friday night's action.

At 8 p.m. ET, the action moves inside the ropes on TNT, truTV and DAZN, where Todd Grisham will handle play-by-play alongside analyst Sergio Mora, with Chris Mannix serving as reporter and analyst throughout the evening.
