ICYMI: Scott Advances Housing, National Security, and Supply Chain Wins in NDAA

Washington, D.C. - Last night, the U.S. Senate passed the fiscal year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) by a vote of 77-20. The legislation includes three of Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott's (R-S.C.) top priorities: the ROAD to Housing Act to expand housing access for Americans, the Protect Our Bases Act to safeguard U.S. military installations from foreign adversaries, and an extension of the Defense Production Act to strengthen critical supply chains and bolster national security.

"From protecting our military bases from Chinese influence, to securing America's supply chains, to expanding access to housing, these provisions reflect the priorities of the American people: safety, security, and opportunity," said Chairman Scott. "I'm proud we were able to deliver real results in this year's NDAA that strengthen our national defense, protect our homeland, and improve the lives of families across the country."
