Suzuki celebrated some very good news at The Scottish Car of The Year Awards 2025 and collected an award for their strong commitment to Aftersales service. The accolade was presented to Suzuki GB PLC by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers at their annual awards dinner held on 27th November at the Dalmahoy Hotel in Edinburgh.
The 11 members of the Association were looking for leading aspects of a manufacturer's commitment to Aftersales via its head office and dealer network that offer the highest levels of customer service and Suzuki was voted as the clear overall winner for Best Manufacturer Aftersales service.
Leading aspects of the brands commitment included good dealer / customer relationships and a long period of warranty cover which is up to 10 years / 100,000 miles.

The Best Manufacturer Aftersales service award was won by Suzuki for their exceptional customer care and reliability, its responsive support, efficient repairs, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The brands industry leading 10 service warranty offers owners peace of mind, consistently high service standards and great value which made them stand out from the competition and was very well deserved"
For all Suzuki car owners up to 10 years' warranty is offered free of charge, activated by the customer once their new car reaches the end of its manufacturer warranty period of three years / 60,000 miles and has its annual service completed within the Suzuki Dealer network.
The warranty stays in place until the next qualifying service and is simply renewed again up to a maximum vehicle age of up to 10 years / 100,000 miles. Major components are covered; and should a customer decide to sell their car between services and within the 10-year qualifying period, the warranty can simply be transferred to the next owner - again free of charge.
The recently launched e Vitara model also has up to 10 years EV battery warranty included with eight years manufacturer followed by a further two which are service activated.
Top customer service is paramount to Suzuki to help retain customers within the dealer network and Suzuki enjoys a 70% retention of owners returning to buy another new car.
