S. Palmetto Street Closure
The City of Sioux City Parks & Recreation Department announces the closure of S. Palmetto Street from Morningside Avenue to Garretson Avenue on Monday, April 6, 2026. This closure will allow City crews to safely complete tree removals in the right-of-way. The closure is anticipated to be from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., with local access being maintained and a detour route along S. Cedar Street and Garretson Avenue.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously and obey all traffic control signs regarding this closure.
