The Latino Cultural Center presents the inaugural Dallas Latino Film Festival

Dallas - The inaugural Dallas Latino Film Festival (DLFF) is a two-day festival in commemoration of the America 250 anniversary and will be taking place September 4-5, 2026 with programming beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, and 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Latino Cultural Center. The DLFF is co-presented with the Pegasus Media Project, and developed in partnership with several organizations representing the North Texas creative and film communities. These partners include: Blaze Unlimited, DAAART, Denton Black Film Festival, Oba Productions, KERA, PRISM, Texas Film Commission, Create Media, and Daydream Media.

The DLFF brings together filmmakers, artists, students, cultural organizations, and industry professionals for a celebration of film, storytelling, and the diverse communities that make up today's cinema landscape. This festival is a reflection of the many identities, histories, cultures, and experiences that have shaped the country. Selected films will be recognized during the festival with awards for Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Story/Screenplay, and Audience Choice Award.

Available programs throughout the two-days will explore production, career pathways, and the evolving film industry while creating opportunities for meaningful exchange between filmmakers and the public.
