First Option Bank to Temporarily Close Lobbies

First Option Bank will temporarily close its branch lobbies in response to concerns raised by the COVID-19 outbreak

Paola, KS. (Mar. 18, 2020) - Beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020, First Option Bank will temporarily close its branch lobbies in response to concerns raised by the
COVID-19 outbreak.

Although banks are not currently among the entities cited to shut down or change business operations in order to prevent the virus from spreading further, President and CEO Blake Heid stated the bank is taking the step based on the latest information and health guidelines related to COVID-19 containment.

"This isn't a step we take lightly, but we believe it is necessary in order to help reduce the potential spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect our customers, employees, and communities during this unusual time," he said. "We are optimistic that this measure will be short-term and that our operations will return to normal in the near future."

Full access to banking services, including drive-thrus (or walk-thru), ATMs, online banking, mobile banking and telephone banking, will remain available at all locations.
