FRANKLIN, Tenn., Apr. 23, 2026 - Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced complete pricing and packaging for the updated 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander, the brand's flagship SUV. For 2026, the Mitsubishi Outlander adds an efficient hybrid powertrain highlighted by a Mitsubishi-designed and -developed 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 48-volt charging system, building on extensive updates the model saw for the 2025 model year.
2026 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport
The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander starts at a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $29,9951, one of three Mitsubishi SUVs the company sells starting at under $30,000.
Inside, the vehicle carries over the extensive mid-cycle update applied to the 2025 model, with revised seating surfaces, cooled front seats on select trims, redesigned cupholders and phone charging pad, enlarged armrest storage, and either an eight-speaker or 12-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha audio system. Also, the addition of extensive sound deadening throughout the cabin reduces the intrusion of outside sounds and makes the vehicle a more upscale and relaxing place to spend time.
Outside, a new design to the hood and front grille area reduces wind noise and improves fit and finish, and is joined by a new design front and rear bumper. Additionally, all lights through the vehicle are now LED, as highlighted in the new smoke-finish taillights. New-design 18" and 20" wheels (depending on trim level) present a striking impression.
Outlander is available in either front-wheel drive or with Mitsubishi Motors' motorsport-inspired Super-All Wheel Control2.
Since its debut in Spring 2021, as a 2022 model-year vehicle, this new-generation Outlander has come to define a new generation of Mitsubishi, going on to win multiple industry awards.
Outlander ES
For 2026, the Outlander ES starts with an MSRP of $29,9951 for a front-wheel-drive model, continued proof of Mitsubishi Motors' legendary value story, and $31,795 for an S-AWC model. Outlander LE
New for 2026, Outlander LE models offer expanded value with stylish standard features including 20-inch black alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, multi-view camera system, smartphone wireless charger, and more.
