U.S. Chamber, Sacramento Metro Chamber Host U.S. Representative Kevin Kiley for Roundtable on Tax Reform

ROSEVILLE, CA - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce recently hosted U.S. Representative Kevin Kiley (R-CA-03) for a roundtable discussion in Roseville, California with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.

We applaud Congressman Kiley for working to ensure that the constituents of the 3rd District of California continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.

"The Working Families Tax Cut Act (H.R. 1) permanently extended important pro-growth tax policies that are driving economic growth and job creation," said Jennings Imel, Vice President of Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "We greatly appreciate Congressman Kiley's support on this important issue and his participation in today's discussion with the Sacramento Metro Chamber and local business leaders. By allowing small business owners to share how they're benefiting from the new tax law, today's roundtable draws a direct line between good public policy and local economic growth."

"Thanks to Robert Heidt and all the employers at the Sacramento Metro Chamber who came together to share how last year's tax law is affecting local businesses," said Congressman Kiley. "The stories we heard were compelling examples of how this successful policy has directly contributed to increased investment, expanding business and more hiring right here in Sacramento. Supporting our small businesses and creating family-sustaining jobs will always be a top priority as long as I'm in office."

"Tax policy plays a critical role in shaping the business environment, influencing everything from hiring and investment decisions to long-term growth," said Robert Heidt, President and CEO of the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. "We are grateful to Congressman Kiley for convening this conversation and providing local employers with a seat at the table as these important discussions continue. Hearing directly from the businesses that drive our regional economy is essential to developing policies that foster opportunity, competitiveness, and prosperity."

The U.S. Chamber's tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America's Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. To date, the Chamber has hosted over 95 tax roundtables, and these events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
