NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Department of Health will welcome more than 650 teen advocates from across the state to the TNSTRONG Youth Summit, an annual tobacco prevention conference, from July 19 to July 21, 2026, at the Chattanooga Convention Center, 1 Charter St., in Chattanooga, Tenn.
This year TNSTRONG will celebrate 10 years of TNSTRONG Youth Summits, marking a decade of empowering youth leaders across Tennessee to advocate for nicotine-free communities.
"This milestone event continues the incredible impact Tennessee's youth have made in nicotine prevention efforts, engaging peers in smoking and vaping cessation, and promoting healthier lifestyles across our state over the last decade," Tennessee Health Commissioner Dr. John Dunn said.
TNSTRONG stands for Tennessee Stop Tobacco and Revolutionize Our New Generation and is Tennessee's youth-led movement to promote nicotine-free lifestyles. Over the course of three days, participants will engage in dynamic learning experiences focused on tobacco prevention, youth empowerment, leadership development, and community action.
The Summit provides a unique opportunity for young people and adult advocates to collaborate and strengthen prevention efforts across the state.
Participants will hear from leading tobacco prevention experts, attend interactive workshops and breakout sessions, develop actionable plans to implement in their communities, and build lasting
connections with peers and professionals dedicated to improving youth health outcomes.
Since its inception, the TNSTRONG Youth Summit has served as a catalyst for youth-led prevention efforts, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to address emerging public health challenges and create positive change.
As TNSTRONG celebrates a decade of impact, the organization looks forward to inspiring the next generation of leaders and continuing its mission to support healthier, tobacco-free communities throughout Tennessee.
