Southbound Fairview Street will be closed April 24 between Civic Center Drive and 5th Street

As work continues on the OC Streetcar system, OCTA is sharing this construction notification with the Santa Ana community about an upcoming closure that could affect your commute.

Beginning as early as Friday, April 24, southbound Fairview Street between Civic Center Drive and 5th Street will be closed to allow for the removal of the crossing arm and the foundation that holds it in place. A detour will be implemented to reroute traffic around the road closure. The work will continue on Saturday, April 25, with possible intermittent lane closures for drivers.

The sidewalk on the southbound side of Fairview Road will also be closed on Friday and Saturday.

The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues. If a weather event or operational issue occurs on the anticipated start date, the work will be delayed until the weather clears or the issue is resolved. This work may be loud.
